Outdoor Pursuits knows that Spring time is bike time. Bike shops all across town are flooded with tune-ups as folks itch to get rollin’ as soon as it warms up outside. It is the way it is.
Mountain biking can also be cruelly dangerous. So, we are offering two bike rides this semester and two legitimate single-track trips.

Virginia Creeper Trail, VA – 3/2
The Virginia Creeper Trail is a really relaxed, ALL downhill, non-technical FUN bike ride over bridges, through tunnels and through pristine countryside. Watch Video!

Mountain Biking North Wilkesboro, NC 4/7
The Overland Victory Trail is ranked the 22nd best trail in the world.
Overmountain Victory Trail is a flowing ribbon of singletrack. It offers great views of the lake throughout its entire 5+ miles. The trail consists of short climbs followed by quick downhills – plenty of twists and turns. Bridge crossings, jumps, berms, and a creek crossing – this trail has it all. Experience encouraged.
