Swim Lessons

GROUP LESSONS for children

This class follows a skill progression designed for the maturity and coordination of preschool age children.  This class offers an excellent socialization and play period as well as an opportunity to establish and develop good water safety skills. This class consists of six skill levels, progressing from beginning water adjustment skills and basic swimming strokes to advanced rescue and water sports skills and competitive swimming strokes.  Each level concentrates on stroke development, personal safety and rescue skills, students personal growth, and increasing student’s endurance and self-confidence in the water.

8-25 min lessons on Saturdays. The next session will not start until September.

Cost:
$60 -WFU Reynolda Campus Faculty/Staff/Student

PRIVATE SWIM Lessons

Private lessons are for everyone!

For those who are looking for personal instruction or a more flexible swim lesson schedule, Private Swim Lessons will help! Swimmers will learn the basics of swimming in a one-on-one setting. Private lessons are tailored to whatever skills you or your child needs to improve his/her swimming ability. Each class will be 30 minutes and are offered in sessions of 1, 3, 6 or 9 lessons. Once we receive your completed registration form with full payment, you will be contacted to set up your private lessons. You are matched with an instructor based on what your needs are. You will get to pick your time and day to come as long as we have a swim instructor that can be present for your request. Private lessons are on going and you can sign up at any time.
