Aquatics

The pool will be closing on Friday, August 8th at 1:00 p.m. and will re-open on Monday, August 25th. During this time we will be conducting our yearly cleaning, painting and re-grouting of the pool.

About WFU Aquatics

Programs include but are not limited to:   lap swim, open recreation swim, club swim team practice, water polo intramurals, innertube waterpolo intramurals, water aerobics, kayak roll clinics, lifeguarding courses,Masterswim team practices, learn to swim classes, group swim lessons, infant swim lessons and youth swim team. Our guards are life guard certified Wake Forest students.

If you have an event or an aquatic interest, please do not hesitate to contact the Campus Recreation office. We are all about providing all things Water.

Facility

The Campus Recreation Pool is located in the Reynolds Gymnasium on the campus of Wake Forest University. The pool is a 6 lane 25 yard pool with three diving boards. (Two 1 meter boards and one 3 meter board) The pool is drained each summer, re-grouted, repainted and cleaned for every new academic year and hosts all aquatic programs sponsored by Campus Recreation.

Past Events

Major events hosted in the pool in semesters past include: Pros vs Joes biggest splash contest, Cardboard Boat Races, Dive In Movies, ROTC Water Certification, Big Four Swim Meet and a Trout Fishing Contest.
